SUPPORT STAFF RECRUITMENT ASSISTANCE

We offer comprehensive assistance in the recruitment of support staff to ensure you receive a personalised care and support package, regardless of your place of residence. Our services include:

 

  • Recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and management of directly employed support workers. We work closely with you to establish a team that caters specifically to your needs.
  • Alternatively, we can collaborate with a care agency to identify and provide suitable agency support workers who will deliver the necessary care.
  • A dedicated “on-boarding liaison” person will be available to guide and support support workers throughout the recruitment process. This includes conducting due diligence checks such as enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) screenings, verifying identities and right-to-work status, as well as obtaining two references.
  • We also take care of organising shadow shifts and interviews to ensure a smooth transition and optimal matching between support workers and clients.

 

 

RESEARCHING AND SELECTING THERAPISTS

At KICM, we prioritise the safety and competence of therapists who collaborate with us and provide services to our clients. To ensure this, we follow a meticulous due diligence process. Here’s how it works:

  • Thorough checks: We conduct comprehensive checks on therapists, verifying their valid professional registrations with relevant regulatory bodies. We also perform DBS checks and ensure they have appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Annual revalidation: We believe in maintaining up-to-date and relevant information. Therefore, we have an annual revalidation process in place for all therapists and therapy practices. This process ensures that the data we have on each therapist remains current and accurate.

By following these rigorous procedures, we strive to guarantee the safety and competence of therapists working with KICM, providing our clients with peace of mind and the highest quality of care.

PROPERTY ADAPTATION SUPPORT

We offer assistance in the process of property adaptations to ensure your living environment is tailored to your specific needs. Our services include:

  • Locating suitable rental properties and/or properties for purchase: We help you find a property that aligns with your requirements, considering factors such as accessibility, location, and amenities.
  • Advising on property adaptations: We provide guidance and expertise on necessary adaptations to make the property suitable for your needs. This can include modifications to accommodate mobility, accessibility, and any other specific requirements you may have.
